White Varietals

 Asyrtiko
(not Philoxera affected)
cultivated in the islands of: Santorini, Rhodes & Chalkidiki.

Asyrtiko, a white variety with its own style. One of the best of Greece's white wines. 
Its a low sugar and high acidity variety. Produces crisp white wines excellent for fish and salads. 
Wines produced are dry and sweet:
  • dry: [V.Q.P.R.D.] Appellation of Origin of Superior Quality wines; in different brand names
  • sweet: [V.L.Q.P.R.D.] Appellation of Origin wines; with the distinct name: Vinsanto 
 Athiri cultivated in the islands of: Rhodes, Santorini, & in Chalkidiki as well as in Peloponnese

Athiri is a white grape variety with creamy, lemon base and light aroma. Its blended with the intense Asyrtiko to give a balanced wine.
 Debina cultivated in: Zitsa (Epirus)

White or black grape variety, with distinct aroma and silver color. Low in sugar and acidity.  Yields Dry, Semi Dry, lightly sparkling wine.

 Roditis

cultivated mainly in Patras north-east Peloponnese and recently in Central Greece and Chalkidiki

Savatiano (Irigoni - ancient name) cultivated mainly in Attica, but recently also in Cenral Greece in the valley of Thebes and Evia island
