During the Symposio and other festivities wine drinking had its own rules and ways of serving. A wide array of different types of ceramic pots were created and used during these occasions. They are categorized as follow:

Σε ολόκληρο τον πλανήτη η Ελλάδα κατέχει δικαιωματικά την πρώτη θέση μεταξύ όλων των αμπελουργικών περιοχών του κόσμου, όχι μόνο γιατί στην Ελλάδα η καλλιέργεια του αμπελιού έχει τις ρίζες της βαθιά μέσα στο χρόνο που φθάνει μέχρι την εποχή του χαλκού, αλλά και γιατί το κρασί λατρεύτηκε σε ολόκληρο τον ελληνικό χώρο σαν μια θεότητα ζωντανή, έξυπνη, γεμάτη ανθρωπιά. Το κρασί είναι αναπόσπαστο μέρος της Ελληνικής πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς και στο πέρασμα των αιώνων παρέμεινε διαχρονικά ριζωμένο στα Ελληνικά ήθη και έθιμα.
